Do you feel lucky to be a snowboarder rather than a surfer so there’s less pressure to get naked?

Yeah I’m grateful I’m not a surfer in that respect. Each to their own though and I’ll definitely have a peek, are you kidding me? It’s awesome!

Is it weird going to the Olympics and hanging out with people from your nation rather than the Roxy crew?

No I really like it. I love Australia and going to the Olympics and wearing national uniform and being a team it’s pretty awesome. I was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony in Vancouver and that was a pretty big honour and one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had.

How do you think the Sochi Olympics will be?

It’s the Olympic games so they’ll make it happen no matter what but yeah it’ll be interesting I think.

Will the crowd support be the same?

I don’t know. My family isn’t going to come just for the expense alone in accommodation but I’m ok with that. I’d prefer us all to go on a holiday together after the Olympics. That’s probably selfish of me as they’d have a great time but I want to join in and not have to be sleeping in the Olympic village haha.
