Lush and L’Occitane also rank highly for not testing on animals and avoiding harmful chemicals in their suds.
Bad news, Aussie shampoo lovers. They are one of the worst ranked ethical brands alongside Herbal Essences, Pantene Pro V, Head & Shoulders and Tresemme.
Sometimes it’s annoying to buy shampoo online, but supermarkets do stock the good brands too. Waitrose, for example, have Neal’s Yard and Weleda in most of their stores.
