Despite heavy conditions (strong winds, super icy pipe and fog), the kids put up a real nice battle for the Iceripper Junior Open in Laax last weekend.
Taking the conditions into account, the riding level was really impressive with lots of airtime from the boys and girls and technical as well stylish tricks. In the Elite Ladies category Zimtstern rider Helene Nadig could proof her skills and came 2nd in a sandwich between French power ladies, Clémence Grimal and Emma Bernard.
The Junior Open events are part of the TTR world tour as well as of the Swiss snowboard series and the riders took home a total prize money of 3000.- CHF as well as some nice Zimtstern gear.
