From 23-25th March 2007, the Association of Skateboard, Snowboard and In-line of the Riviera (Assir) are hosting a multi-sport contest, involving competitions in Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Ski freestyle and In-line rollerskating.
The contest has been taking place since 2001, when Assir opened a brand new skatepark in Montreux (Switzerland). Since then, the 2-day event has grown in numbers and popularity with a record number of riders expected to compete this year in ski freestyle and snowboard disciples at “Les Rochers-de-Naye” (a resort situated just below Montreux), and skateboard and in-line rollerskate disciplines at the ESB (the Empire Skate Building aka Montreux sk8park).
This event takes place each year in March – here is the 2007 schedule:
-Friday night: best trick contest @ the ESB
-Saturday: snowboard and ski contests at the Rochers-de-Naye
-Sunday: skate and roller contests @ the ESB
