Omgee Vans, the new sponsors of the US Open of Surfing, have got themselves a good photographer this year. Or maybe it’s the same dude (C Lallande since you’re asking) seriously upping his game. Sure those wide-brown Huntington Beach pier poles provide a rad backdrop whoever you are but they don’t help you get red flare shots like the one of Carissa Moore above or this Courtney Conlogue black and whiter below.
We also like this dusty atmospheric crowd shot (on a tangent love how many people are wearing bikinis and seeing these numbers at a midweek contest bodes well for surfing right?)
