After The Operation

When you’ve had any major surgery, rest and healing time is required before going back into any sport, and a  boob job is no different.

Most doctors and surgeons will suggest a healing time of four weeks to two months before getting back into an active routine after breast enhancement surgery, but that number varies with all cases.

This can be because of the implant itself or whether you have external stitches and therefore need to be careful about sea water and infection.

Getting back On The Board

Once you’ve waited for your body to heal after the operation, you’ll no doubt be eager to get back out there!

Do remember that you will most likely have to reassess and retrain your upper body, with its new additions, and recover your fitness level after a rest period.

Somer doctors suggest laying on your front for a couple of minutes everyday once your certain you are healed properly, which will be super useful for getting reading for paddling out.

Before hitting any double overheads, make sure you’ve had some time both in the water without your board and in the gym working up your upper boy muscles, you don’t want to have a nasty shock on your first time back in the line up!

For extra encouragement, make sure you invest in a good, supportive bikini top to protect you from any powerful wipe outs!
