Billabong is back for another season on the slopes. This year’s collection brings together a new level of graphic innovation to the line, combined with technical performance.
This season Billabong snow gear is defined by two main themes, the Expression Series and the Signature Series.
Expression Series
For the first time ever Billabong have invited three artists to make their mark with unique graphics on their collection of snow gear. These designs feature across a selection of jackets, trousers, underwear and tees. Two of these artists have worked exclusively across the women’s range…
Koralie
Koralie’s work is inspired by the sensuality and elegance of geishas and the style of design menga. It expresses a want for a universe that is poetic and beautiful. The Koralie design is featured on the Tiaré jacket, inside an asymmetrical chest flap which can be worn either exposing the design or alternatively it can be covered using the magnetic fastening.
Supakitch
Supaskitch is a graphic street artist, who has designed a signature character called Supanimal. Supanimal is a hybrid creature with characteristics taken from a lion, an eagle, a cat, a panda bear and a squirrel! Supanimal is featured on the top of the range jacket Firefly. Also featuring the designs of Supaskitch is the matching snowboard jacket and pant Supaskitch and Bio.
Signature Series: Jenny Jones
Last season, Billabong successfully launched its signature series and this year its back, but this time a female rider has been given the opportunity to create her own outfit.
This range of snowboarding gear is designed with and for Billabong’s best team riders.
The UK’s very own, Jenny Jones who is currently the World number 2 has been honoured with her own signature series outfit this year. For her first jacket Angel, she opted for clean graphics.offering the ultimate in style and technical performance.
