Cooler x O’Neill – Maria Pizzeria’s top 10 outfits

You might have seen the post above on our Facebook page recently. With ‘work’ Maria Pizzeria obviously didn’t mean us, because we’re at the cutting edge of avant garde fashion at all times ourselves, and no one could possibly even imagine dressing more extravagantly than us. Goes without saying really.

But we were intrigued. What did she rock up in to get told off? And what has she been wearing lately? Here are the answers the fashion world has been waiting for with bated breath… And Maria Pizzeria’s top ten new outfits!

How come you were asked to dress less extravagantly?

It was the first day at my new job and I had to go to the building where the company is based and it is pretty corporate and business-ish there! I guess it was just an advice from my manager to be representative for the rest of the team. I remember I was pretty toned down at the interview but yeah I do have green hair!

What do you think of dress codes?

Hate them, especially if they make people uncomfortable. But I totally agree with dresscodes that are related to having respect for the occasion or person. For example when I was working in a nursery home, I had to wear comfy clothes for hygienic reasons and also to just make the patients feel safe.

3. Matching hair and jellies

Any opinion on school uniforms in the UK?

Since I’m from Sweden and have Thai parents I have always loved stuff that the Thai culture had and Sweden didn’t and the school uniform is one of those things. I love it, it’s cute but I can’t bear the thought of HAVING to wear it every day. I do understand the thing behind it but it’s 2013…

Do you think you could have dealt with having to wear a school uniform?

Right now, yes, as a kid no. I don’t like being forced to do stuff but I have a huge crush on school girl vibes right now (how creepy does that sound!)

What’s the perfect office outfit for you?

I would say a tight pencil skirt (if I was tall enough) and a cute blouse. And a pair of nice kicks… hehe

6. Candy stripes for a new project #carlyandpizza

What’s the perfect skate outfit?

The things you wake up in! Jokes, but comfy clothes that also make you feel confident. So for me I would say a pair of grey jersey shorts and a loose cropped tee and a backpack stuffed with sweets and water!

7.  Hangin’ baseball style

Perfect gig outfit?

Flatforms (to be able to see everything without having to fight for the front row), and a tiny backpack for the camera and the phone, and something that is alright to be sweaty in!

8. Acid peasant shot by Carly Scott

What’s your number one tip when deciding what to wear?

I always like to think that you never know what’s gonna happen during your day. So basically I might “just” dress for work but I want to be able to go out straight after work without having to go back home, so I like to bring accessories such as necklaces, earrings, or a cap to be able to piff it up a lil.

What’s the craziest outfit you’ve ever worn?

???????? I have no friggin idea…

10. The ones in the Cooler x O’Neill shoot by Ellis Scott in our current issue were definitely some of the best…
